Beef – You can substitute the stew meat with chuck or shoulder cuts. You can also use ground beef.
Meat – You can use different meat instead of beef. Make chicken stew with chicken breast. Likewise with lamb, turkey, or other meats.
Sweet Potato – You can substitute the sweet potato with regular potato or 1 cup of cooked rice, either regular brown rice or white rice.
Veggies – You can use fresh vegetables instead of frozen ones. Just be sure to use vegetables dogs can eat.
Oat Flour – You can make oat flour by placing uncooked old-fashioned oats in a blender or food processor and blending until it reaches flour consistency.

Thanks for your recipe. My plan is to cook stew meat and add equal amounts of can dog beef food. She will hardly eat dog food now and I don’t want her so spoiled she will refuse it. Also I see this as a way to stretch the budget. Since I have been cooking for her she has put on weight that she doesn’t need. I need a method of measuring proper portions. I rated you before she ate it but it looks like a winner.

I’m so glad you enjoyed the recipe and your dog likes the stew. Having a picky eater is a challenge and it’s wonderful when you find a way to feed something they will eat.
