Ingredients
1cupoat flour
1/4cupold-fashioned oats
1teaspoonground turmeric
1/4teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
1/2cupmashed sweet potato
1egg
2tablespoonsmelted coconut oil
Instructions
You can either boil sweet potato cubes (without skin) until fork-tender or bake a sweet potato at 425°F for 45 minutes or until soft when pierced with a fork. Mash the boiled cubes or baked flesh with a fork. Cool it to room temperature before using it to make the treats.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place silicone molds on a baking sheet for stability.
Place mashed sweet potato, egg, and coconut oil in a bowl. Stir until combined and smooth.
Place the oat flour, oats, turmeric, and black pepper in a bowl. Stir or whisk to combine.
Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture and combine well.
Place the dough into the molds. Bake for 18-22 minutes. Allow to cool completely before removing from the molds.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
