Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 3 tablespoons spirulina powder
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour and spirulina powder.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the peanut butter and egg until smooth.
  • Add the peanut butter mixture to the flour mixture. Stir and add water as needed to make a rollable dough.
  • Place the dough on parchment paper. Roll dough out with a rolling pin to about ¼-inch thick.
  • Use a cookie cutter to cut out as many treats as possible. Gather scraps, re-roll, and cut until all the dough is used.
  • Place the cutouts on the lined baking sheet. Bake for 15-18 minutes.
  • Allow the treats to cool completely on the baking sheet.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.

Notes

Do not use peanut butter that contains xylitol, an artificial sweetener toxic to dogs.
Spirulina is a natural dye and can leave stubborn green stains.
