Ingredients
1cupcanned salmondrained
1/2cupmashed sweet potato
1/2cupwater
2tablespoonschopped curly parsley
1egg
1tablespoonmelted coconut oil
2cupsoat flour
Instructions
You can either boil sweet potato cubes (without skin) until fork-tender or bake a sweet potato at 425°F for 45 minutes or until soft when pierced with a fork. Mash the boiled cubes or baked flesh with a fork. Cool it to room temperature before using it to make the treats.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Place the salmon, sweet potato, water, parsley, egg, and coconut oil in a food processor. Process until combined.
Add the flour and process until combined.
Place silicone molds on a baking sheet for stability. Fill the molds with the dough.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool completely before removing the treats from the molds.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Notes
Do not use Italian flat-leaf parsley because it contains compounds that are harmful to dogs.
