Pumpkin Spice Dog Treats

These homemade pumpkin spice dog treats are crunchy, cozy, and made with dog-safe spices. A fun fall treat inspired by a pumpkin spice latte. Perfect for spoiling your pup or gifting to fellow dog lovers!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or carton coconut milk (not canned)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
  • Place oat flour, ground cinnamon, and ginger in a small bowl. Whisk or stir until well combined.
  • Place pumpkin puree and maple syrup in a large bowl and stir to combine.
  • Add flour mixture and almond milk a little at a time to the wet ingredients and combine into a dough.
  • Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Cut out treats with your favorite cookie cutter.
  • Place the cutouts on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Allow the treats to cool completely on the baking sheet.

Notes

Do not use pumpkin pie mix because it may contain spices toxic to dogs.
