Ingredients

  • 1 small apple
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 cups oat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Peel, core, and remove the seeds of the apple. Dice the apple into small pieces and place them in a medium bowl. Add pumpkin purée, coconut milk, and egg and combine well.
  • Place the oat flour and baking powder in a separate bowl and mix well.
  • Add flour mixture to the wet ingredients and combine until a dough forms.
  • Using a small ice cream scoop or a tablespoon, scoop out equal amounts of dough and form them with your hands into a cookie shape.
  • Place the formed treats on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Allow the treats to cool completely before removing them from the baking sheet.

Notes

Do not use pumpkin pie mix because it may contain spices toxic to dogs.
