Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened natural peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened carob chips

Instructions

  • Place the cottage cheese, peanut butter, and honey and in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth. Stir in the carob chips.
  • Pour the mixture into a freezer safe container. Place it in the freezer for 4 hours or until solid.
  • To easily scoop the ice cream, leave it sitting out of the freezer for a few minutes to thaw slightly.

Notes

Do not use peanut butter that contains xylitol, an artificial sweetener toxic to dogs.
You can use low fat cottage cheese but it will result in an icier and harder texture.
