These homemade ground lamb dog treats are packed with protein and made with simple, wholesome ingredients like mint and oat flour. A tasty way to reward your dog with something extra special.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, applesauce, mint, and egg.
  • Add flour and combine well.
  • Press the dough into silicone molds. Place the molds on a baking sheet for stability.
  • Bake for 17-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature is 160°F.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before removing the treats from the molds.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
