Ingredients

Mango

  • 1/4 cup cubed mango
  • 4 tablespoons water (approximately) for blending with mango
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 package Knox Gelatin

Blueberry

  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 3 tablespoons water (approximately) for blending with blueberries
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 package Knox Gelatin

Watermelon

  • 1/4 cup cubed watermelon without seeds
  • 1 tablespoon water (approximately) for blending with watermelon
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 package Knox Gelatin

Instructions

  • Wash, peel, and cut the fruit as needed.
  • Blend each fruit individually, adding enough water to bring it to 1/2 cup total after blending.
  • For each flavor, bring 1/4 cup water to a boil. Add 1 packet of gelatin and whisk until the gelatin has dissolved. Remove from heat, add the blended fruit, and stir well.
  • Place gummy bear silicone molds on a baking sheet for stability. Pour the mixture into the molds.
  • Place the filled molds in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours, or until set and firm.
  • Remove them from the molds.

Notes

This recipe makes about 90 1-inch gummy bears (30 of each flavor).
Store the gummy bears in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
For firmer gummies, place the unmolded gummies on parchment paper in a single layer. Refrigerate them uncovered for 12-24 hours.
To keep the gummy bears from sticking together when stored, toss them in a small amount of cornstarch or arrowroot powder.
