Carob Peanut Butter Candy for Dogs

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons carob powder

Instructions

  • Place peanut butter, coconut oil, and maple syrup in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until melted and smooth.
  • Add the carob powder and stir until well combined and smooth.
  • Place silicone candy molds on a baking tray for stability. Fill each mold with the melted candy mixture.
  • Place the tray in the freezer for at least 1 hour or until the candy is hard. Remove the candy from the molds.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

Do not use peanut butter that contains xylitol, an artificial sweetener toxic to dogs.
