Brownies for Dogs

Ingredients

Pumpkin Peanut Butter Swirl

  • ½ cup Pumpkin Puree
  • ½ cup Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 Egg

Brownies

  • 1 cup Oat Flour
  • ¼ cup Carob Powder
  • 1 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ cup Melted Coconut Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish or cake pan.
  • In a small bowl, combine the pumpkin, peanut butter, and egg until smooth.
  • In a separate small bowl, combine oat flour and carob powder.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin, eggs, and melted coconut oil.
  • Add the carob and oat flour mixture and mix well.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the pan. Using an ice cream scoop or large spoon, drop dollops of the peanut butter mixture onto the brownie batter.
  • Using a butter knife or toothpick, swirl the peanut butter mixture into the brownie batter.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. Cut into squares.

Notes

Do not use peanut butter that contains xylitol, an artificial sweetener toxic to dogs.
