Ingredients

  • 8 cups water
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  • Pour water into a large pitcher.
  • Place blueberries into a plastic zip-top bag. Press the blueberries until they pop, using a rolling pin or your hand. Pour the pressed blueberries into the water.
  • Allow the water to sit for at least an hour.
  • When serving the water to dogs, use a strainer to be sure that no blueberries get into their bowl. This is to prevent a choking hazard.
  • You can put the strained blueberries back in the pitcher.
  • After 24 hours, strain out the blueberries or the water will become bitter.
  • Store the blueberry-infused water in the refrigerator.
