Apple Muffins for Dogs

Wholesome mini apple muffins for dogs made with oats, cinnamon, and peanut butter are perfect for fall!

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups lite coconut milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease mini muffin pans.
  • Peel and chop the apple into small pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine the oat flour, oats, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the apple, peanut butter, and egg.
  • Add the apple mixture to the flour mixture and stir to combine. Add the coconut milk and stir to combine. Spoon the mixture into the greased mini muffin tins.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes. Transfer the muffins to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

Do not use peanut butter that contains xylitol, an artificial sweetener toxic to dogs.
