Turkey and Spinach Dog Food

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup uncooked quinoa
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach thawed

Instructions

  • Pour water into a small pot and bring it to a boil. Add the quinoa and stir. Partially cover and reduce heat to a slow simmer. Cook for 20 minutes or until the water is absorbed.
  • Pour olive oil into a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground turkey and cook, stirring to crumble it, until browned.
  • Add the cooked quinoa and spinach, stir, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and cool to room temperature before serving.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
