Tea Cakes for Dogs

Homemade Honey Almond Tea Cakes are the perfect special treat for dogs. Easy to bake, made with wholesome ingredients, and great for celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 5 tablespoons unsweetened almond butter
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey plus more for optional drizzle
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup oat flour

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a Bundt tea cakes or mini muffin pan with nonstick spray.
  • Place applesauce, almond butter, coconut oil, honey, and egg in a mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
  • Add oat flour and mix until combined.
  • Spoon the batter into the tea cake pan cups, filling 27 of the 30 cups.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the cakes from the pan and let them cool completely.
  • If desired, drizzle with a little honey before serving.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

Do not use almond butter that contains xylitol, an artificial sweetener toxic to dogs.
