Meatloaf for Dogs

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • ½ cup Green Peas
  • ½ cup Diced Sweet Potato
  • ¼ cup Chopped Fresh Curly Parsley (do not use flat leaf parsley)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease three mini loaf pans.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the egg and ground beef.
  • Add oats, vegetables, and parsley to beef mixture and combine well.
  • Divide meat mixture evenly between the three pans.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the internal temperature is 160°F.
  • Place on a wire rack to cool to room temperature.
  • Slice and serve.

Notes

You can substitute the beef with ground chicken or ground turkey.
You can substitute the peas and sweet potato with any dog-safe vegetables.
