Instant Pot Lamb and Barley Dog Food

Homemade dog food with lamb and barley made quickly in the Instant Pot.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsalted beef broth or water
  • 1 cup quick pearled barley
  • 2 lamb chops 1” thick

Instructions

  • Pour the beef broth and barley into the Instant Pot and lay the lamb chops on top.
  • Secure the lid and set to HIGH pressure for 20 minutes. Allow the pressure to release naturally.
  • Remove the lamb chops from the pot. Remove and discard the bones and cut the meat into bite-sized chunks.
  • Return the lamb to the pot and stir into the barley. Allow to cool before serving.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

Do not use beef broth that contains onions or garlic.
