Dehydrated Green Beans for Dogs

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces frozen green beans

Instructions

Dehydrator Method

  • Lay the frozen green beans in a single layer on a dehydrator tray.
  • Dehydrate at 135°F for 5-6 hours or until crispy.
  • Remove the green beans from the dehydrator and allow them to cool completely.

Oven Method

  • Preheat the oven on the lowest setting, about 125°F.
  • Lay the green beans in a in a single layer on a baking sheet. Dehydrate in the oven for 8-12 hours or until crispy.
  • Remove the green beans from the oven and allow them to cool completely.

Notes

If you want to use fresh green beans you will need to blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes and then immediately plunge them into ice water. Pat with paper towels to dry them before dehydrating.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
