Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup blueberries or chopped strawberries plus more for garnish

Instructions

  • Place the cottage cheese, honey, and peanut butter in a food processor. Blend until smooth.
  • Stir in the berries. Pour the ice cream mixture into a freezer safe container. Freeze for 4 hours or until solid.
  • To easily scoop the ice cream, leave it sitting out of the freezer for a few minutes to thaw slightly.

Notes

Do not use peanut butter that contains xylitol, an artificial sweetener toxic to dogs.
You can use low-fat cottage cheese but it will result in an icier and harder texture.
