Ingredients
Cake
- ½ cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
- ½ cup Unsweetened Creamy Peanut Butter
- 2 Eggs
- ¼ cup Melted Coconut Oil
- 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
- ¼ cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- ½ cup Oat Flour
- ½ cup Brown Rice Flour
- ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
- ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
Frosting
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
- ¼ cup Unsweetened Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Decorating
- 14 Dog Treats
Instructions
Cake
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Place the pumpkin puree, peanut butter, eggs, coconut oil, maple syrup, and yogurt in a large bowl.
- Use a mixer to mix the ingredients until well combined.
- Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Pour the batter into the greased cake pan.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Remove the cake from the pan and place it on a wire rack to cool completely.
Frosting
- Place the cream cheese, peanut butter, and maple syrup in a bowl.
- Use a mixer to beat the ingredients until combined and smooth.
- Spread the frosting over the cake.
- Decorate the cake with dog treats.
Notes
Do not use peanut butter that contains xylitol, an artificial sweetener toxic to dogs.
For the frosting, you can substitute cream cheese with 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt.
