Ingredients

Cake

  • ½ cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
  • ½ cup Unsweetened Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ cup Melted Coconut Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • ¼ cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • ½ cup Oat Flour
  • ½ cup Brown Rice Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Frosting

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • ¼ cup Unsweetened Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Decorating

  • 14 Dog Treats

Instructions

Cake

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Place the pumpkin puree, peanut butter, eggs, coconut oil, maple syrup, and yogurt in a large bowl.
  • Use a mixer to mix the ingredients until well combined.
  • Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Pour the batter into the greased cake pan.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Remove the cake from the pan and place it on a wire rack to cool completely.

Frosting

  • Place the cream cheese, peanut butter, and maple syrup in a bowl.
  • Use a mixer to beat the ingredients until combined and smooth.
  • Spread the frosting over the cake.
  • Decorate the cake with dog treats.

Notes

Do not use peanut butter that contains xylitol, an artificial sweetener toxic to dogs.
For the frosting, you can substitute cream cheese with 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt.
