Ingredients
2cupsUncooked Oatmeal
1poundChicken Liver
2Eggs
1tablespoonMelted Coconut Oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place oatmeal in a blender. Pulse to grind the oats into flour.
Add liver, eggs, and coconut oil on top of the blended oats in the blender.
Blend until well combined and a liquid forms.
Place silicone cookie/candy molds on a baking sheet for stability. Pour the mixture into the molds.
Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
If you do not have silicone molds, you can use a greased rimmed baking sheet and pour the mixture as a layer into the baking sheet. After baking, cool it to room temperature then cut it into squares.If you want to use flour instead of oatmeal, you can use 1 3/4 cups of all-purpose or whole wheat flour.Or you can use 2 cups of oat flour instead of grinding oatmeal into oat flour.This recipe makes 90 to 100 treats using 1.5-inch mini dog bone molds.
