Ingredients

  • 2 cups Uncooked Oatmeal
  • 1 pound Chicken Liver
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Melted Coconut Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Place oatmeal in a blender. Pulse to grind the oats into flour.
  • Add liver, eggs, and coconut oil on top of the blended oats in the blender.
  • Blend until well combined and a liquid forms.
  • Place silicone cookie/candy molds on a baking sheet for stability. Pour the mixture into the molds.
  • Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

If you do not have silicone molds, you can use a greased rimmed baking sheet and pour the mixture as a layer into the baking sheet. After baking, cool it to room temperature then cut it into squares.
If you want to use flour instead of oatmeal, you can use 1 3/4 cups of all-purpose or whole wheat flour.
Or you can use 2 cups of oat flour instead of grinding oatmeal into oat flour.
This recipe makes 90 to 100 treats using 1.5-inch mini dog bone molds.
