Apple Dog Treats
Homemade apple dog treats with cinnamon and ginger are a tasty treat for your furry friend.
- 2 cups Oat Flour
- ½ cup Chopped Apples or Applesauce
- ½ cup Greek Yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons Melted Coconut Oil
If using a fresh apple chop it into small bits.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl with a mixer or spoon.
Dust a flat surface with flour and roll or press out the dough until it is about ¼-inch thick.
Using a cookie cutter, cut out as many shapes as possible. If the dough is too sticky to roll out, add a little more oat flour. Gather the dough scraps and re-roll as necessary until all the dough is used.
Place the cutout treats on a baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
You can substitute the oat flour with all-purpose flour.
Makes 5 large plus 8 small using dog paw cookie cutters.
