Frozen Peanut Butter Dog Treats
Homemade frozen peanut butter banana dog treats are a tasty snack for your furry friend!
Prep Time 15 minutes minutes Total Time 2 hours hours 15 minutes minutes
- 1 Banana
- 1 13-ounce can Lite Coconut Milk
- 1/4 cup Peanut Butter
- 1 tablespoon Melted Coconut Oil
Cut the banana into small pieces.
Place two to three banana pieces in each silicone mold cup.
Because coconut milk tends to separate during storage, shake the can before opening or stir it well after opening.
Pour coconut milk over banana pieces, filling each cup until almost full.
Combine the peanut butter and melted coconut oil.
Drizzle the peanut butter mixture into each cup until they are full.
Place the molds in the freezer until fully frozen, about 2 hours.
Remove the treats from the molds and place them in a plastic freezer bag or freezer-safe container.
Store the treats in the freezer.
Do not use peanut butter that contains xylitol, an artificial sweetener toxic to dogs.
You can substitute coconut milk with plain Greek yogurt.
