Ingredients

  • 2 cups Brown Rice Flour
  • ½ cup Applesauce
  • 1 heaping tablespoon Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ cup Water

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Place Brown Rice flour in a medium mixing bowl.
  • Add wet ingredients, except the water, and blend well using a hand mixer, a spoon, or your hands.
  • Add water, a little at a time, until the dough is rollable.
  • Roll out the dough between sheets of parchment paper on a flat surface until about ½ inch thick.
  • Using your favorite cookie cutter, cut out as many shapes as possible. Re-roll and form as necessary until all the dough is used up.
  • Place the cutouts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 12 to 16 minutes.
  • Transfer the baked treats to a wire rack and cool them completely.

Notes

Do not use peanut butter that contains xylitol, an artificial sweetener toxic to dogs.
You can make your own brown rice flour by adding uncooked, dry brown rice to a blender and blending until it reaches flour consistency.
